@Vishal Ashtrey - I'm quite calm. I've heard LOTS of stories about wild animals that were supposedly beloved pets... that suddenly mauled their owners. Messi seems like a cool cat, but they need to remember that he is also quite powerful. He doesn't necessarily understand that they are just messing with him for fun. If he's growling, he's telling them to stop. And they should probably listen to that warning.

I love this relationship. It is so ridiculous and absurd. But, it is a wonderfully sweet and loving relationship between this loving, intelligent, and kind young Russian couple and a wild North American cougar that was rescued from a petting zoo and given a wonderful family life as a pet and full family member. I am completely addicted to this channel. It seems that Alexander has taken ALOT of time and effort and love to train and condition Messi for bathroom and other skills Messi has learned to have a comfortable, fulfilling life as a house cat. Messi is so entertaining to observe. He regularly gets into situations concerning his will and his wants. It’s hilarious to see the interactions between Messi and his family, the way he gets offended over moving his bowl, waking his parents up for his walks, or feeding schedules, or just for attention. This cat is gentle, but is still a cougar. Alexander is an EXCELLENT large cat owner and I wish other cat owners could follow his example, but I think it’s more a labor of true love that cannot be reproduced unless a person truly possesses this genuine love for the animals. I am very happy that their channel is successful as other people seek to exploit animals for simply profit, but this situation is much different as you can feel and almost taste the love from this family. When Messi had his surgery you could see and feel the genuine stress and concern on the faces of Alexander & Maria. This couple truly love these animals and as an animal lover, I know you cannot fake that, you either possess this or you simply don’t. This couple genuinely does and I can easily read this. God bless this couple as they bring joy to my life each and every day. I love Messi the puma…… 😿😾😻😀😂🥰

I am in love with this big, beautiful, boy, Messi. This couple makes me so happy. Here in Washington, USA, if a cougar/Puma/Mountain Lion (Same cat) comes into town, it’s shot😢 I get that people get scared because their families are at risk, as well as their own pets or livestock. We’ve recently had three grown, adult cougars come into town. One killed and drug a yearling deer underneath the neighbor’s porch. At night when I’d take my dogs out, I’d see the cougar sitting up against my neighbor’s car watching me and keeping an even closer watch on my dogs. Usually my dogs would go crazy and start barking but not with this big kitty. My dogs quickly did their business and ran back indoors. I absolutely love wildlife. I love when someone steps in and saves one that is sick and facing being put down. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving this amazing boy and giving him a chance at living a happy and very much loved life. You both are incredible parents to Messi 🥰🥰🥰
I'm a big fan of Messi's too, but the last thing you want is a wild cougar that's comfortable coming into town. That's how small children wind up disappearing. Messi is so gentle and well behaved it's easy to forget he's actually one of nature's most efficient killing machines, but he's like that because he has never been in the wild. Besides, don't you have animal control? A lot of the time they'll capture a cougar and just release it miles away in the wilderness as opposed to just shooting it. But you definitely cannot have wild cougars comfortable with venturing into populated areas. There's a 100% chance trouble follows from that. (Plus, don't forget Messi is actually only about half the weight of a regular male cougar due to his health issues as a kitten)
I have never seen such a sweet man not afraid to show his feelings and emotions. These cats have a awesome mom and dad, better than mine growing up. What lucky cats you are.
