  • Honestly, I have to thank you guys. I had to put my cat down yesterday and it really knocked the wind out of my soul. I love animals, and watching Messi with you guys is the first spark of joy I've felt in awhile. Even if you don't read this, I just wanted to show my appreciation.     • Gentle until you realize that the sandpaper tongue of a housecat scales with big cats. Tigers can literally lick the paint off the side of a building, lol. I'm pretty sure Messi is being as gentle and cajoling as possible, but that couldn't have been totally painless when he was licking the back of Sasha's shoulder and head 🤣

I just cringe at the thought of the razor burn Sasha might get on the side of his head from that tongue 😅. I did find it funny that he was trying to grab Messi's tongue there toward the end.

    • He is changing everything we know about pumas. Looking at Messi there is no way anyone could convince me these animals are "naturally solitary" in the wild. And science is beginning to find out pumas are actually very social with each other, they just hunt alone.

If cardiologists would make a study of changes in heart function during exposure to Messi loving his dad (even if it was just ECG's + echokardiograph for a start, I'm shure there would be clearly observable possible changes.
