The most she's done (and is ever likely to do) is swat at the shadows she sees getting too close - because they frighten her when she's feeling especially vulnerable. She is not going to 'attack'. You're reading her all wrong. Those of us who know cats can easily see what she's doing. She is defensive because of her illness and vision difficulties--so naturally protects herself. They both know what they're doing. IF she lashes out - it's a one-time thing--not followed up by an 'attack', the way some people are imagining. She is being fed and looked after --and she knows this full well, is only hissing the way any injured or ill animal would naturally do, even the smallest of cats reacts like this. She's a hissy girl and might always be 'hissy', but this does not mean she'll ever be dangerous to them.

Да ужас.таскают таких животных по циркам.нашли игрушку!дикие животные.сегодня ехала по городу расклеены афиши и там живность всякая медведи и т.д.расстроилась.ичель.там и угробили.они ее уже взяли доживать.увы.

RIP Ichel. She just wanted to make sure you both knew she wasn't an "easy" girl. You needed to work for her affections as they were very valuable. Thank you from my heart for giving her a quality home at the end of her life! She got you ready for Gerda, who is, thankfully a more affectionate girl! Смотрела открыв рот и не дыша! Ичель наслаждается когда ее гладят, она шипит не так грозно как раньше. После слов о салфетке она сразу села,но как хорошо воду пила. Ребята вы творите чудо!

I just read parts of a few comments and I thought it said Messi had died. I literally started crying. And then I read it on and it was Ischel. That still breaks my heart. The love these people have for these cats is otherworldly. I would love to meet them one day just to give them both a huge hug for the spirits they have lifted around the world with videos of this amazing cougar Messi and his family

Sasha and Marsha. Thank you for rescuing these creatures and whilst they were removed from the wild world or forced bred in captivity, the kindness and love you show these majestic cats can be like even maybe for the very first time in their lives. Knowing maybe for the very first time that nothing was demanded of them and that each day- a peaceful life filled with love, good food and lots of touching. Finally this was introduced to them as to what a true loving touch is ,scratches , cuddles could be and were like. I know they all appreciate this. This is so easily seen through their eyes. She maybe now gone now( not forgotten ) but indeed know that she is roaming free in all the beautiful wild lands in Cheetah and Cat Heaven .❤️🐆🐅💫✨

@@kokujin She had lung cancer and was in pain which is why seemed unfriendly. If she hadn't have been sick, we would have seen what a sweetheart she truly was. It is sad that animals can't talk and tell you they hurt and people don't realize if an animal is not friendly it is most likely because they have bee traumatized or in pain.

@@Iampuma please, the animal is stressed, think about what he feels when you enjoy petting him, he looks sad, we saw and understand you can dominate him, but i see pain in his eyes. you only care about the video. happy animals dont need people to pet them. only people need to pet animals for obvious selfish reasons. please think about animal fealings. Masha should take care of the animal. btw you might get bitten, and you will say that you dont care, but thats selfish tought. you get bitten cuz the animal dosnt feel right, and you should care about that.

But what I understood in the last videos is that she is many years old, have liver problems and are taking medication. She is blind or partially blind, so she need to being fed and also hurt her caregiver once.

@@ikoukas They did not know, but because she wasn't responding well to the pancreatic meds, Sasha persuaded a vet to make a home visit (even in the lockdown) and he brought a portable ultrasound. They did many ultrasound scans, then consulted with several other vets re the diagnosis, which was cancer which had metastasized throughout her body. There was no hope--she was terminal. They decided to keep treating her with pain meds and to keep her comfortable, but to no longer film her after this, until she passed. April 17. They are heartbroken and still in mourning, don't really want to talk about Ichel until some time has gone by. Anyone who loses a beloved animal can understand this? In the meantime, people continue to ask questions during the Sunday live feeds which I can see are very painful for them. It took me a very long time to get back to normalcy after losing each of my own beloved small cats - let alone a beautiful cheetah they worked so hard to try to help. I couldn't even look at photos or videos while I grieved and am still reduced to tears over the loss of my last fur baby, nearly a year ago.

The other cheetahs started to be mean to her, steal her food, things were not good for her - I think the other cheetahs sensed that she was sick and wanted to cast her out of their group, as animals tend to do with the sick ones. Circus decided to do a good thing and give her to Sasha and Masha.

Poor girl. I can only imagine what might have been if she had more time. She could have turned out to be a very happy kitty like Messi under other circumstances. At least you didn't give up on her and did the best you could. Though stubborn, she got to know some kindness before her time ran out.

Когда Ичель у вас только появилась, мне она не понравилась (не знаю почему, возможно в сравнении с мягким, няшным Меськой), но потом по мере того как она у вас адаптировалась, начала доверять, и стала членом вашей семьи, я к ней как то прониклась. Очень жаль что у нее не очень хорошо со здоровьем, животинка явно настрадалась в прошлой жизни. Вы такие молодцы! Ичель точно счастлива с вами.

I Think it is her bad eye sight that makes her hiss. She want to look dangerous in case anyone gets to close. I had the same issues with my domestic cat. Good work with ichel ❤️

she wasn't enjoying the patting,her hissing was telling the humans she hurt and wanted to be left alone but he overstepped her boundaries and that's total disrespect to the animal.... when will people listen to the animal and not listen to what the human wants. @@kogaron7260 возможно. Но в любом случае не настолько, чтобы постоянно быть в агрессии. Я считаю, что у Ичи все же искалечена психика. Ведь за такой промежуток времени она должна была понять, что прикосновения Саши и Маши не несут угрозы. Однако продолжает шипеть, как будто ожидает подвоха, что вот сейчас ее ударят, ей будет больно. У меня ощущение, что это на уровне рефлекса. Она как трудный подросток-вроде и хочется ему тепла и ласки, но ему столько раз делали больно, что он не верит уже никому! Надеюсь, Саша с Машей сумеют растопить эту королевишну

The most she's done (and is ever likely to do) is swat at the shadows she sees getting too close - because they frighten her when she's feeling especially vulnerable. She is not going to 'attack'. You're reading her all wrong. Those of us who know cats can easily see what she's doing. She is defensive because of her illness and vision difficulties--so naturally protects herself. They both know what they're doing. IF she lashes out - it's a one-time thing--not followed up by an 'attack', the way some people are imagining. She is being fed and looked after --and she knows this full well, is only hissing the way any injured or ill animal would naturally do, even the smallest of cats reacts like this. She's a hissy girl and might always be 'hissy', but this does not mean she'll ever be dangerous to them.

I just read parts of a few comments and I thought it said Messi had died. I literally started crying. And then I read it on and it was Ischel. That still breaks my heart. The love these people have for these cats is otherworldly. I would love to meet them one day just to give them both a huge hug for the spirits they have lifted around the world with videos of this amazing cougar Messi and his family
These people are amazing and so much like people in the U.S. it's not the people of other countries who are unwilling to love one another but the leaders of countries that promote distrust and hatred. Thank you for rescuing these creatures and whilst they were removed from the wild world or forced bred in captivity, the kindness and love you show these majestic cats can be like even maybe for the very first time in their lives. Knowing maybe for the very first time that nothing was demanded of them and that each day- a peaceful life filled with love, good food and lots of touching. Finally this was introduced to them as to what a true loving touch is ,scratches , cuddles could be and were like. I know they all appreciate this. This is so easily seen through their eyes. She maybe now gone now( not forgotten ) but indeed know that she is roaming free in all the beautiful wild lands in Cheetah and Cat Heaven .❤️🐆🐅💫✨

@@kokujin She had lung cancer and was in pain which is why seemed unfriendly. If she hadn't have been sick, we would have seen what a sweetheart she truly was. It is sad that animals can't talk and tell you they hurt and people don't realize if an animal is not friendly it is most likely because they have bee traumatized or in pain.

@@ikoukas They did not know, but because she wasn't responding well to the pancreatic meds, Sasha persuaded a vet to make a home visit (even in the lockdown) and he brought a portable ultrasound. They did many ultrasound scans, then consulted with several other vets re the diagnosis, which was cancer which had metastasized throughout her body. There was no hope--she was terminal. They decided to keep treating her with pain meds and to keep her comfortable, but to no longer film her after this, until she passed. April 17. They are heartbroken and still in mourning, don't really want to talk about Ichel until some time has gone by. Anyone who loses a beloved animal can understand this? In the meantime, people continue to ask questions during the Sunday live feeds which I can see are very painful for them. It took me a very long time to get back to normalcy after losing each of my own beloved small cats - let alone a beautiful cheetah they worked so hard to try to help. I couldn't even look at photos or videos while I grieved and am still reduced to tears over the loss of my last fur baby, nearly a year ago.

The other cheetahs started to be mean to her, steal her food, things were not good for her - I think the other cheetahs sensed that she was sick and wanted to cast her out of their group, as animals tend to do with the sick ones. Circus decided to do a good thing and give her to Sasha and Masha.

Когда Ичель у вас только появилась, мне она не понравилась (не знаю почему, возможно в сравнении с мягким, няшным Меськой), но потом по мере того как она у вас адаптировалась, начала доверять, и стала членом вашей семьи, я к ней как то прониклась. Очень жаль что у нее не очень хорошо со здоровьем, животинка явно настрадалась в прошлой жизни. Вы такие молодцы! Ичель точно счастлива с вами.

@@kogaron7260 возможно. Но в любом случае не настолько, чтобы постоянно быть в агрессии. Я считаю, что у Ичи все же искалечена психика. Ведь за такой промежуток времени она должна была понять, что прикосновения Саши и Маши не несут угрозы. Однако продолжает шипеть, как будто ожидает подвоха, что вот сейчас ее ударят, ей будет больно. У меня ощущение, что это на уровне рефлекса. Она как трудный подросток-вроде и хочется ему тепла и ласки, но ему столько раз делали больно, что он не верит уже никому! Надеюсь, Саша с Машей сумеют растопить эту королевишну
