Саша,она не киса,она больше собака. И ей холодно на улице. У нас даже зимой днём +25 ,ночью иногда бывает +5 зимой .но таких дней в году может 30 максимум. Остальное время лето. Она же африканка. )

А мне кажется,что видя палку,Ичель ожидает какую-то команд у.Команды нет и она в растерянности,не понимает,что надо делать и что от неё хотят.А от не постоянно чего-то хотели . Может,общаясь с Ичель меньше говорить,а произносить отдельные слова,чтобы со временем она понимала,что от неё требуется.Пусть бы она выполняла отдельные трюки,которые знает. Перед едой,например. И тогда бы её жизнь была более осмысленна. А не валяться днями да прохаживаться по вольеру.

My gosh.. everyone is so knowledgeable about what Ichel needs, and what should be done with her, and on and on. *Cats do not like change.* Period. Everything has to be done in small steps, and she has to be kept away from Messi and introduced to new things a little bit at a time. She's becoming familiar with the fact that Sasha provides the food, and that is a very important step in gaining her trust. She's still wary, but not to the point of 'fight or flight'. That's why Sasha can actually be in the same room with her. She is starting to settle down, but it *WILL* take time. She won't be rushed into anything. I don't think she's had much interaction with humans before this (other than feeding), and plus she's 10 years old, so it will take a good while for her to warm up to anyone... if she ever does. Many baby steps and hopefully she will relax a bit soon. I really appreciate you guys documenting her progress almost daily, and I hope she eventually comes around.😉👍

Thank you all. I have dealt with cats for many years, and I see that Ichel's living space is purpose-built as a minimalist environment with few distractions. Like I said, cat's do not like change, and this way Sasha can introduce things a little at a time... blankets, new toys, etc. The room is warm and has windows for her to see the outside, and she gets occasional adventures outside to sniff around and get used to her new world. I think it is a brilliant approach to getting her trust and training her properly.😉👍

Ichel is slowly coming around. She is so new to everything. Just be patient. I have seen many pictures of cheetahs and she is by far the most beautiful. She is very elegant, feminine, dignified and frankly very calm considering. Her hisses are very half hearted. She’ll come around.

Oliesmuma Shepherd , ooooh......a CHEETAH!! I couldn’t think what breed of cat she is. Apparently it’s the fastest of all breeds of cats. Eventually, when he’s completely won her trust & can take her for walks, she’s going to be extremely frustrated at not being allowed to RUN! He would never be able to keep up with her! lol But at least she’ll now be living a safe well-looked-after life! I’m sure Messi is neutered.

I find it hard to believe that you are posting for gifts for Messi and he isn't even on the site, but Ischel. I love and adore Messi, but find it not do interesting just to watch this new cat. Я как-то на улице увидела сиамского котёнка. Узнала, что он ничейный. Котёнок был дикий, ближе чем на 2 метра не подходил. Так я эту кошечку (кошка оказалась) пол года потом приручала, прикармливала. Она на меня шипела похлеще, чем Ичель на Сашу. Постепенно привыкла. Но доверяла только мне. Никого больше к себе не подпускала. Забрала я эту кошку домой. Так она теперь самая ласковая, добрая и преданная. Мне кажется, что у них как у людей - чем тоньше душевная организация, тем животное более закрытое и осторожное. Когда поймут, что можно доверять - становятся самыми преданными в мире.

This Cheetah was born in captivity. And she should walk a lot, not run. Ichel worked in a circus, and now lives in excellent conditions. Moreover, you know that cheetahs are on the verge of extinction, and their breeding is only possible in captivity.

@@user-uo1fx4ox6m walk or run doesn't matter. A cheetah is built for speed and it needs that exercise. By making it chase something looking like a prey is a good exercise. That is how cats "play". Btw, I trust Sasha and he knows what he is doing. I sure he has a plan for this cheetah so calm down. I am also pretty aware that cheetahs are in danger. Just like you said, this cheetah didn't grow in the wild so don't expect it to get released any time soon.

I really wish from the bottom of my heart that this animal finally finds the happiness she never had🤞🙏. When I see her, for now, she still breaks my heart💔😢. But we are only at the beginning of a long road ...And I imagine that what we see in these videos is part of a long integration process. She is 10 years old and a lot of suffering behind her😢. Gaining her confidence after that is not going to be easy. Even if they may make a few mistakes, I'm sure that Masha and Sasha will do their best to welcome Ichel into her new family🤗💞💞. But I will not allow myself to judge them because I am neither a zoologist nor a behaviorist veterinarian. For now, all that interests me is to observe the evolution of her behavior over the days.😚😚😚

Agree with everything you wrote. Plus I think this might be last week's video (remember reading Ichel had let Sasha stroke her neck with a stick?) We saw on Sunday now Ichel has a blanket, ball and flap door. I requested them to add line like day 3 with Ichel when they post older videos so won't get comments about giving her blanket pillows and toys

Honestly I'm getting try of reading all of these "know it alls" comments telling Sasha what he should do and shouldn't do. And about toys and a bed. If these people would watch more than one video they would of see that Masha tried to play ball with her but Ichel didn't know what to do. She was a circus performer she wasn't a pet until now. She has a bed in her den and they have said they ordered her some hay but of course these "know it alls" haven't tried to learn anything before they start commenting on here. Why does people comment before they read the other comments to see first if anyone has suggested toys and a bed because they KNOW IT ALL!

Давайте не будем драматизировать и прогнозировать, думаю, что Саше и Маше удастся в полной мере адаптировать Ичель к проживанию в семье. Сравнивать её с Месси не совсем корректно, там другая история.

@@enotiy Кошка такого размера убьет человека при необходимости. Только образ жизни эволюционно заложил гепардам предпочитать ретироваться при опасности - травмы нежных беговых лап гарантированно означают смерть от голода. Поэтому и гиены часто в одиночку отнимают у гепардов добычу.

@@outtime4057 Гепарды слабы физически. Они длинные, высокие, но у них нет мощи, чтоб побороть крепкого мужика, достаточно не пустить его к своей шее, а это его единственное оружие. И да, в общем то гепарды никогда не пытались убить человека.

ThoughtCriminal , we’re seeing that it’s a long slow gradual process.....to get to the point of understanding that he can be trusted. It takes patience & full understanding of the thoughts of each species of cat.....& obviously this man has the necessary knowledge. Her present circumstance will eventually change.....depending on how long it takes her to fully trust him. The process is fascinating to watch......even not understanding the language.

Каждое животное должно было привыкнуть к своему собственному телу, Чита попробовала пробежаться, и с удивлением обнаружила, что может бегать достаточно быстро. Она бежала и бежала по бескрайним просторам, но скоро почувствовала себя одинокой и решила найти друзей. Однажды вдали она увидела группу львов и радостно бросилась к ним. Увидев ее, самый большой лев встал и грозно прорычал: "Кто ты такая и чего хочешь?" -Мне очень одиноко,-сказала Чита,-и я ищу друзей таких же, как и я. -Но ты не лев! Надо чтоб больше доверяла, попробывать просидеть с ней целый день, конечно желательно внутри, и не приставать, а просто к другой стенке сесть и сидеть, сидеть, сидеть. Она сама подойдет понюхает и дело пойдет легче, т.о. вырабатывать привыкание к себе, и понимание, что вы ничего не сделаете ей, и ничего от нее не хотите.

Может сами попробуете? И это не тот случай предложения взять всю ответственность общения с каким-то диким животным на себя, а про "посидеть целый день". Вы сами то одни, без животных, телевизора, еды, гаджетов, и остального, много можете просидеть? Вот потренируйтесь, потом и говорите. Саша с Машей говорили, что проводят с гепардой минимум часов 5 в сутки, а в те первые дни - наверняка больше. Не всё же им снимать. Или вам было бы интересно смотреть на 5 часов съёмки без монтажа, вставок, комментариев, и событий? Вряд ли, но если так - ближайшее к этому - это стримы, но там дополнительно отвечают на вопросы и общаются.

I’m loving how the comments section is filled with professional large cat experts. 🙄 Just wondering why this stampede of animal experts believes that a 10 minute video is a reflection of every moment of Ichel’s experiences? It looks to me that she is safe, clean, well fed and allowing Sasha to interact more with her every day. She has a window to look out of, a bed to sleep in and levels of territory to perch on. Additionally, other videos show they are building a huge atrium with trees, etc for her to exercise and receive enrichment. The situation is new, improving and evolving. But I’m not an expert. 🤷♀️

She seems to be settling in well...she growls but that seems more as a warning “ I don’t quite trust you yet”. Not that she’s afraid. The fact that she let Sasha touch her with the fuzzy stick shows a lot of progress. It takes time to build trust, but it’s happening!

people! don't make comments until you have done more research, like go back and watch the videos you haven't seen, read the comments, even if you have to use russian to english in google, and please remember Ichel is not a cat from the wild, but from a circus and is definitely not a housecat, so although to our feelings, the cat should have cushy beds, plush toys, etc, she is not used to that. Dumping all that on her would just give her more to worry about in her environment. Her enclosure may look cold and uninviting to you, but it is well heated, keeping her in a climate more suited to her species than the freezing outside cold. She has a hatch door for which she can come and go from the aviary (large outside enclosure) anytime she wants. Watching out the window she is learning the new landscape. You can obviously see how clean Sasha and Masha keep her room. Ichtel doesn't live in pee and poo scattered about. Her abuse from the circus would have come from males, so I would expect that she hisses less at Masha. Sasha is well informed from large cat specialists on the order of steps to take when acclimatizing Ichel to her new environment. Trust him. Marvel in her beauty. She will never be Messi, but she will live her days as the majestic cheetah she is.

👌 Agree with you. Also this seems older video of Ichel's first week with them. 2 clues for this, firstly Ichel's heated enclosure doesn't have the flap door to outer enclosure that we saw in Sunday's live stream. We saw Ichel had a blanket and ball. Secondly Masha had mentioned in 5th Jan Sunday's live stream that Ichel had let Sasha stroke her neck in just few days. My guess is this video is before Messi Ichel meeting. Since then she has become calmer, I guess we will know better in this Sunday's live stream.

Ischel's progress is wonderful! She's so much calmer when you come into her area -- not much hissing and far more relaxed than she was just two weeks ago. She's settling in and accepting her new quarters as her home -- congratulations on bringing another beautiful cat (and they're ALL beautiful) into the Dimetriov family! Прогресс Ишеля замечательный! Она намного спокойнее, когда вы входите в ее район - не так много шипит и гораздо более расслаблена, чем она была всего две недели назад. Она оседает и принимает свой новый дом в качестве своего дома - поздравляю с привезением еще одной прекрасной кошки (и они ВСЕ прекрасны) в семью Диметриевых!

Саша,она не киса,она больше собака. И ей холодно на улице. У нас даже зимой днём +25 ,ночью иногда бывает +5 зимой .но таких дней в году может 30 максимум. Остальное время лето. Она же африканка. )
А мне кажется,что видя палку,Ичель ожидает какую-то команд у.Команды нет и она в растерянности,не понимает,что надо делать и что от неё хотят.А от не постоянно чего-то хотели . Может,общаясь с Ичель меньше говорить,а произносить отдельные слова,чтобы со временем она понимала,что от неё требуется.Пусть бы она выполняла отдельные трюки,которые знает. Перед едой,например. И тогда бы её жизнь была более осмысленна. А не валяться днями да прохаживаться по вольеру.

My gosh.. everyone is so knowledgeable about what Ichel needs, and what should be done with her, and on and on. *Cats do not like change.* Period. Everything has to be done in small steps, and she has to be kept away from Messi and introduced to new things a little bit at a time. She's becoming familiar with the fact that Sasha provides the food, and that is a very important step in gaining her trust. She's still wary, but not to the point of 'fight or flight'. That's why Sasha can actually be in the same room with her. She is starting to settle down, but it *WILL* take time. She won't be rushed into anything. I don't think she's had much interaction with humans before this (other than feeding), and plus she's 10 years old, so it will take a good while for her to warm up to anyone... if she ever does. Many baby steps and hopefully she will relax a bit soon. I really appreciate you guys documenting her progress almost daily, and I hope she eventually comes around.😉👍

Thank you all. I have dealt with cats for many years, and I see that Ichel's living space is purpose-built as a minimalist environment with few distractions. Like I said, cat's do not like change, and this way Sasha can introduce things a little at a time... blankets, new toys, etc. The room is warm and has windows for her to see the outside, and she gets occasional adventures outside to sniff around and get used to her new world. I think it is a brilliant approach to getting her trust and training her properly.😉👍

Ichel is slowly coming around. She is so new to everything. Just be patient. I have seen many pictures of cheetahs and she is by far the most beautiful. She is very elegant, feminine, dignified and frankly very calm considering. Her hisses are very half hearted. She’ll come around.

Eventually, when he’s completely won her trust & can take her for walks, she’s going to be extremely frustrated at not being allowed to RUN! He would never be able to keep up with her! lol But at least she’ll now be living a safe well-looked-after life! I’m sure Messi is neutered.

Я как-то на улице увидела сиамского котёнка. Узнала, что он ничейный. Котёнок был дикий, ближе чем на 2 метра не подходил. Так я эту кошечку (кошка оказалась) пол года потом приручала, прикармливала. Она на меня шипела похлеще, чем Ичель на Сашу. Постепенно привыкла. Но доверяла только мне. Никого больше к себе не подпускала. Забрала я эту кошку домой. Так она теперь самая ласковая, добрая и преданная. Мне кажется, что у них как у людей - чем тоньше душевная организация, тем животное более закрытое и осторожное. Когда поймут, что можно доверять - становятся самыми преданными в мире.

Btw, I trust Sasha and he knows what he is doing. I sure he has a plan for this cheetah so calm down. I am also pretty aware that cheetahs are in danger. Just like you said, this cheetah didn't grow in the wild so don't expect it to get released any time soon.

I really wish from the bottom of my heart that this animal finally finds the happiness she never had🤞🙏. When I see her, for now, she still breaks my heart💔😢. But we are only at the beginning of a long road ...And I imagine that what we see in these videos is part of a long integration process. She is 10 years old and a lot of suffering behind her😢. Gaining her confidence after that is not going to be easy. Even if they may make a few mistakes, I'm sure that Masha and Sasha will do their best to welcome Ichel into her new family🤗💞💞. Honestly I'm getting try of reading all of these "know it alls" comments telling Sasha what he should do and shouldn't do. And about toys and a bed. If these people would watch more than one video they would of see that Masha tried to play ball with her but Ichel didn't know what to do. She was a circus performer she wasn't a pet until now. She has a bed in her den and they have said they ordered her some hay but of course these "know it alls" haven't tried to learn anything before they start commenting on here. Why does people comment before they read the other comments to see first if anyone has suggested toys and a bed because they KNOW IT ALL!

@@enotiy Кошка такого размера убьет человека при необходимости. Только образ жизни эволюционно заложил гепардам предпочитать ретироваться при опасности - травмы нежных беговых лап гарантированно означают смерть от голода. Поэтому и гиены часто в одиночку отнимают у гепардов добычу.

Надо чтоб больше доверяла, попробывать просидеть с ней целый день, конечно желательно внутри, и не приставать, а просто к другой стенке сесть и сидеть, сидеть, сидеть. Она сама подойдет понюхает и дело пойдет легче, т.о. вырабатывать привыкание к себе, и понимание, что вы ничего не сделаете ей, и ничего от нее не хотите.

Может сами попробуете? И это не тот случай предложения взять всю ответственность общения с каким-то диким животным на себя, а про "посидеть целый день". Вы сами то одни, без животных, телевизора, еды, гаджетов, и остального, много можете просидеть? Вот потренируйтесь, потом и говорите. Саша с Машей говорили, что проводят с гепардой минимум часов 5 в сутки, а в те первые дни - наверняка больше. Не всё же им снимать. Или вам было бы интересно смотреть на 5 часов съёмки без монтажа, вставок, комментариев, и событий? Вряд ли, но если так - ближайшее к этому - это стримы, но там дополнительно отвечают на вопросы и общаются.

I’m loving how the comments section is filled with professional large cat experts. 🙄 Just wondering why this stampede of animal experts believes that a 10 minute video is a reflection of every moment of Ichel’s experiences? It looks to me that she is safe, clean, well fed and allowing Sasha to interact more with her every day. She has a window to look out of, a bed to sleep in and levels of territory to perch on. Additionally, other videos show they are building a huge atrium with trees, etc for her to exercise and receive enrichment. The situation is new, improving and evolving. But I’m not an expert. 🤷♀️

She seems to be settling in well...she growls but that seems more as a warning “ I don’t quite trust you yet”. Not that she’s afraid. The fact that she let Sasha touch her with the fuzzy stick shows a lot of progress. It takes time to build trust, but it’s happening!

Also this seems older video of Ichel's first week with them. 2 clues for this, firstly Ichel's heated enclosure doesn't have the flap door to outer enclosure that we saw in Sunday's live stream. We saw Ichel had a blanket and ball. Secondly Masha had mentioned in 5th Jan Sunday's live stream that Ichel had let Sasha stroke her neck in just few days. My guess is this video is before Messi Ichel meeting. Since then she has become calmer, I guess we will know better in this Sunday's live stream.

Ischel's progress is wonderful! She's so much calmer when you come into her area -- not much hissing and far more relaxed than she was just two weeks ago. She's settling in and accepting her new quarters as her home -- congratulations on bringing another beautiful cat (and they're ALL beautiful) into the Dimetriov family! Прогресс Ишеля замечательный! Она намного спокойнее, когда вы входите в ее район - не так много шипит и гораздо более расслаблена, чем она была всего две недели назад.
